We Only Do One Thing.
On Purpose.

RankOnTime is a specialist AI SEO agency. We get brands cited, quoted, and recommended inside AI search — and we don't sell anything else, which is both our main advantage and a genuine limitation.

Why we exist

Most Agencies Added AI SEO to a Menu. We Built the Menu Around It.

When AI search started meaningfully affecting how people research and buy, most agencies responded by adding a line item. AI SEO became a module alongside paid social, content marketing, and web design — usually delivered by whoever on the team had read the most about it.

That approach has an obvious problem: AI visibility isn't a tactic layered on top of SEO. It's a different set of failure modes with different diagnostics. A blocked crawler, an unresolved entity, and thin corroboration all look identical from the outside and need completely different responses.

So we built the agency around that discipline exclusively. No paid media, no social media management, no generic web design. That means we're the wrong choice if you want one partner handling everything — and the right one if you want people who aren't splitting attention across five disciplines.

How we work

Four Things We Do Differently, and One We Refuse To Do

We measure before we recommend. Almost every engagement starts with a benchmarked baseline, because the honest answer to 'what should we do' depends on which of four layers is actually failing. Selling a retainer before anyone has measured anything is how budgets get wasted.

We publish our pricing. Ranges are on the pricing page, so you can self-qualify without a discovery call. If we're out of budget, you should learn that from a web page rather than after forty-five minutes.

We report what didn't work. Monthly reports include the things that moved backwards, the tactics that produced nothing, and the recommendations we got wrong. A report showing only wins isn't a report, it's marketing.

We tell clients when to stop. If benchmarking shows your category isn't being asked about conversationally, or that a cluster is owned by sources you won't displace, we say so — even when that means recommending less work than we could bill for.

What we refuse to do: guarantee AI citations. Model outputs are probabilistic and change with every update. Anyone guaranteeing specific placements is misrepresenting how these systems work.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

Who is RankOnTime a bad fit for?

Pre-product-market-fit startups still changing positioning, because entity work on a moving proposition gets wasted. Local service businesses, where classic local SEO pays back far better. And anyone wanting one agency for paid, social, design, and search.

We'd rather say this upfront than discover it in month three.

Do you guarantee results?

No, and be sceptical of anyone who does. Model outputs are probabilistic, vary by phrasing, and change with every update.

What we commit to is measurement: a documented baseline, a defined prompt set, monthly reporting, and an honest account of what moved and what didn't.

Why don't you offer paid media or social?

Because doing one thing well is genuinely hard and we'd rather not split attention. AI search visibility has enough depth to occupy a specialist team fully.

We work alongside paid and social agencies routinely, with responsibilities documented in writing.

Who is Ron?

Ron is the rooster who fronts our work — the one who spots what's broken on a site before anyone else notices, and generally isn't subtle about it. The bars in his comb are a rising visibility score, which is either a good joke or a bad one depending on your tolerance.

Practically, 'Ron's audit' is what we call the diagnostic every engagement starts with.

Where are you based?

We work remotely with clients primarily across the United States. AI search visibility isn't a location-dependent discipline, and we'd rather hire good people than co-located ones.

For enterprise engagements we'll travel for kickoffs and major reviews where it genuinely helps.

How big is the team?

Small and deliberately specialist. Every engagement has a named strategist who does the actual analysis rather than a salesperson who hands off to juniors after signing.

It's a real constraint on how many clients we take, which is why we're honest about fit before starting.
