AI SEO Scoped Around
How You Actually Sell

A 40-page SaaS site and a 40,000-SKU catalog fail at AI visibility for completely different reasons. These pages cover what changes by business model — and what doesn't.

Who we're not for

We're a Bad Fit for Some Businesses, and We'd Rather Say So

We work best with established brands that have a real site, real revenue to protect, and a category people actually ask about conversationally. Typically that's 10 to 500 employees in SaaS, B2B, ecommerce, technology, and financial services, plus enterprise engagements above that.

We're a poor fit for pre-product-market-fit startups still changing positioning, because entity work built on a moving proposition gets wasted. We're also a poor fit for local service businesses — plumbers, dentists, contractors — where classic local SEO delivers far more per dollar than AI visibility work.

And we're the wrong choice if you want one agency handling paid media, social, and web design alongside search. We only do AI search visibility. That's a genuine limitation, not a humble-brag.

Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with local businesses?

Generally no, and we'd tell you honestly. For local service businesses, classic local SEO — Business Profile optimization, local citations, review generation — delivers substantially more per dollar than AI visibility work.

There are exceptions in high-value local categories, but they're rare. We'd rather refer you elsewhere than take a retainer that won't pay back.

What size company do you typically work with?

Most clients are between 10 and 500 employees with established sites and real revenue. We also run enterprise engagements above that, which are scoped and priced differently.

Below that, the fixed-scope audit or a lean startup engagement usually makes more sense than a full retainer.

Our industry isn't listed — can you still help?

Often yes. The listed categories are where we have the deepest pattern recognition, but the underlying discipline applies broadly.

The real test is whether your category gets asked about conversationally. We'll benchmark that before recommending anything — and tell you if the answer is no.

Can you work alongside our existing agency?

Yes, and it's common. We typically own the AI visibility layer while an incumbent handles content production, paid, or classic SEO.

It works when responsibilities are documented explicitly, which we do in writing before work starts.
